Terms of Service

VibeSchool is an education platform for learning, teaching, pathways, families and schools. Some areas are publicly explorable; others require an account, an authorised relationship or a school role.

Adults may create accounts where the relevant VibeSchool flow permits it. Learners under 18 may use learner-facing features only through account and authority arrangements VibeSchool permits. Where Kenyan law requires a parent or guardian’s consent to process a child’s personal data, that consent and appropriate age/authority safeguards must be obtained before relying on consent for the processing.

Schools, parents, guardians and other authorised adults must provide accurate relationship and authority information and must not create or claim access to a learner they are not entitled to manage.

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity you knowingly authorise. Do not share passwords or one-time codes. Use the VibeSchool Contact page promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

VibeSchool may offer free features and paid features. A price, billing period and material purchase terms should be shown before a user commits to a paid service. We do not treat the entire platform as paid merely because some services may require payment.

Where a paid service is introduced, refunds, cancellations, suspension and renewal rules are governed by the purchase terms shown for that service and applicable Kenyan law.

You must use VibeSchool lawfully and in a way that respects learners, educators, families, institutions and other users. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms.

Learning recommendations, Pathways guidance, progress signals and similar features are intended to support understanding and decision-making. They are not a substitute for official placement decisions, professional advice or the authority of relevant education institutions. Where VibeSchool labels information as verified or authoritative, that label should be supported by appropriate evidence.

VibeSchool owns or licenses the software, original branding and content it creates. That does not mean VibeSchool automatically owns every item that appears on the platform.

Users and institutions retain rights they already hold in content and data they lawfully provide, subject to the permissions reasonably required for VibeSchool to host, process and display that material for the requested service. Third-party and public-source material remains subject to its own rights and licence conditions.

Access to school and learner information is governed by authorised roles, relationships, applicable agreements and law. Users must not extract, disclose or repurpose information merely because they can technically view it.

Privacy rights and data-handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy.

We work to keep VibeSchool reliable, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change as the platform, curriculum context, security requirements or law changes. Material changes to these terms should be communicated in a reasonable way before they take effect where required.

Access may be restricted or suspended where necessary to protect users, learners, institutions or the platform; to investigate suspected abuse; to enforce these terms; or to comply with law. Where appropriate, users should receive an explanation and a route to seek review.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VibeSchool is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on guidance, third-party material, service interruption or unauthorised use outside VibeSchool’s reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes should first be raised through VibeSchool support so there is a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue before formal proceedings, without limiting any right a person has to approach a regulator or court.
